Caring for fur
- Intense heat will dry out fur and leather. It is not necessary to refrigerate our fur products, but it is imperative that you do not expose it to very hot conditions long term.
- Fur needs to breathe. Please do not store it in plastic bags or airtight containers.
- If the fur gets moderately wet, shake it dry and let it air-dry naturally.
- We highly recommend taking fur products to a professional furrier for cleaning. Regular dry-cleaners use toxic chemicals that will dry out furs. Furriers use environmentally safe solutions, corn husks, and steam. Together, they stimulate the natural oils in the leather and within the follicle. The fur will emerge conditioned and revitalized.
